Maintenance Inventory Specialist - 2nd shift
Responsibilities
- Maintain and run reports for established metrics for the department visual management board.
- Manage the ordering process of all parts in SAP and non-SAP parts (consumable).
- Weekly review the requisition list in SAP driven by consumed parts.
- Identify proper vendor for the parts and contact the vendor for correct pricing.
- Create a PO for the needed parts and send to the vendor.
- Track all shipments.
- Receives incoming materials, to include visual inspection of the materials, verification of shipping documentation, placing item in appropriate storage area, and updating SAP.
- Appropriately addresses any issues during this process to include, A/P resolutions, researching paperwork, making necessary contacts.
- Collaboratively works with the Maintenance Technicians & Supervisors on non-stock items, including researching, competitive pricing, affirming timelines, ordering, receiving, and distribution to appropriate project.
- Maintains the Maintenance parts in SAP to include tracking, reporting monthly and maintaining, accurate inventory levels of parts and ERSA materials.
- Throughout the year performs physical inventories of parts and materials as determined by Finance.
- Generates purchase orders per management and technician request and determine the proper GL for the request.
- Track all cost for PO’s created and report out to management for budget requirements.
- Work closely with Finance.
- Follow the established process to add new parts to SAP working closely with Vendors and Master Data team.
- Captures incoming parts from work orders for the completion of ongoing jobs.
- Any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing inventory or in a maintenance support role.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems highly preferred.
Total Rewards
- Hourly Pay Range is $19.47 - $30.19.
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
