Maintenance Intern - Summer 2027

About the Role

Fenner Precision Polymers is offering an internship with the Maintenance Team at several locations. Interns will gain professional career development and community outreach opportunities, and will present a final project overview to the Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures.
• Determine material required for necessary repairs.
• Utilize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills in daily repairs of processing equipment.
• Follow all lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Complete all jobs in an orderly manner while wearing required PPE at all times.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.
• Shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants.
• Troubleshoot issues with production equipment through PLC programs.

Qualifications

• One year completed at a technical college or a CTC/vocational school.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
