Maintenance Intern
The Spartan Maintenance Internship Program is designed to build relationships with colleges and students, aiming to develop multi-year intern arrangements that could lead to employment opportunities after graduation from an accredited engineering program.
About the role
Students will be part of a team working on real-world projects alongside experienced staff. They will also gain insight into Spartan's Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work on real-world projects with experienced staff
- Learn about and participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Gain exposure to various career opportunities within Spartan
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen, permanent resident status, or valid eligibility paperwork to work in the U.S.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student during the current school year
- Must have a GPA of at least 2.5
- Be available to work fulltime for at least 8 weeks during the summer or current quarter
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Pay
The pay rate for the maintenance internship program is $18.00 per hour.
Schedule
The internship schedule varies based on the quarter or semester the student is enrolled in. It typically runs for 8-12 weeks, beginning May 15 and ending August 31 during the summer, or when the quarter or semester the student has applied for ends during the school year.
