About the role
REEL USA has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Instrumentation, Electrical, & Automation Technician to support the Final Assembly Line (FAL) at Airbus. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain aerospace ground equipment, production machines, jigs, tools, and plant facility equipment.
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance repairs during ongoing operations.
- Perform technical skills including start-up, electrical testing, cabling, troubleshooting, and repair of production specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret PLC programs, equipment manuals, electrical and mechanical drawings, and work orders.
- Create work instructions and document the "how to."
- Detect and document faulty operations, defective materials, and report such defects and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Communicate through telephone and email to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of craft apprenticeship or relevant experience.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills with PLC experience, overhead cranes.
- Knowledge of Siemens software would be advantageous.
- Ability to learn Siemens software.
- Proven positive safety, health, and environmental record.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment and hazard awareness.
- Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Able to work independently and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a history of dependability.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience would be beneficial.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. working hours. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
