Responsibilities

  • Install and program electrical equipment.
  • Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and PFC tests.
  • Interpret PLC ladder logic programs.
  • Follow electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed.
  • Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.
  • Complete in-house training programs to develop equipment specific maintenance skills.
  • Attend external training that may require occasional overnight travel.
  • Follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years’ experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems and industrial equipment.
  • Passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Able to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, and bend, while performing day-to-day duties in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Qualifications

  • State Electrician Journeyman license
  • Technical degree and/or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment; particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Pay Range: $25.02 - $41.24 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

Schedule

Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
