Responsibilities
- Install and program electrical equipment.
- Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and PFC tests.
- Interpret PLC ladder logic programs.
- Follow electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed.
- Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
- Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.
- Complete in-house training programs to develop equipment specific maintenance skills.
- Attend external training that may require occasional overnight travel.
- Follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ Years’ experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems and industrial equipment.
- Passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Able to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, and bend, while performing day-to-day duties in a non-air-conditioned environment.
Qualifications
- State Electrician Journeyman license
- Technical degree and/or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment; particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Pay Range: $25.02 - $41.24 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
Schedule
Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
