Maintenance Industrial Electrician

About the Role

Loparex LLC, the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Industrial Electrician to join our team in Malvern, PA. This role is part of the United Steel Workers local 333 Union workforce and involves working a rotating shift schedule: 2 weeks of Day Shift (6a-6p), 2 weeks of Night Shift (6p-6a), with 2 weekends off. Each work week is 42 hours.

Responsibilities

• Keep production machinery operating efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service plant support systems.
• Diagnose and repair machinery, including mechanical, electronic, and electrical control systems.
• Maintain, repair, and adjust electrical equipment such as circuitry, manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-locking systems, heating controls, sensing devices, DC & AC drives, PLCs, and related components.
• Install electrical systems for new equipment.
• Read, document, and maintain electrical modifications to equipment in schematic drawings.
• Input information into the maintenance management system and maintain complete records.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental requirements.
• Follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Education and electrical training sufficient to work safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, climbing, stooping, and handling heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.).
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens machinery is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment testing: lifting test, drug test, and background check.
