Job Summary
About the role
This is a full-time, first-shift position. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve complex operating problems in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor.
- Performs mechanical calibrations and alignments during preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment.
- Accurately completes daily maintenance reports.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
- Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
Requirements
- Two to five years related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible to quickly shift priorities as needed.
- Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
Qualifications
- Typical education required: Associate Degree, Military, or Civilian Equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
Skills
- Knowledge of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to assemble and test motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other machinery related equipment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work Environment: Maintenance Self-paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises and extreme temperatures infrequently.
- Physical Demands: Medium - Very heavy, lifting up to 150 lbs.
