Maintenance Helper

Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition with a pleasing appearance.
• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance Supervisor's responsibilities in their absence.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
