What You'll Do As a Maintenance Generalist, you'll help ensure our community remains safe, functional, and inviting by: Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the communityTroubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systemsResponding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and team membersCompleting work orders accurately and efficientlyConducting inspections and identifying maintenance concerns before they become larger issuesAssisting with apartment turnovers and community renovationsMaintaining grounds, equipment, and common areas to the highest standardsFollowing all safety procedures and regulatory requirementsSupporting emergency response and on-call maintenance needs as assigned What We're Looking For Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related skilled tradeKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilitiesExcellent customer service skills and a commitment to resident satisfactionStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as neededValid driver's license preferredAbility to read and speak English Outstanding Benefits As part of National Lutheran Communities and Services, we offer great PERKS and BENEFITS to promote a better quality of life for our team members.
