About the role
The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is a full-time, hands-on working supervisory position responsible for overseeing field production crews and providing first-level supervision of all field production activities within our Landscape Department. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a results-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field production crews in landscape maintenance
- Serve as a strong personal communicator with the ability to get things done
- Apply in-depth knowledge of landscaping and broad knowledge of commercial landscaping
- Work with Property Managers, Store Managers, General Contractor personnel, sub-contractors, and vendors
- Renew current accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with Department and Operations Managers
- Develop field personnel through teamwork with Operations
- Foster cooperation and teamwork within and between departments
- Resolve crew problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action
- Focus on the customer while operating within the Santa Rita Way
- Accurately forecast project schedules
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, coach, develop, and build crew bench strength
- Conduct safety meetings with team members in compliance with OSHA Safety laws
Requirements
- Three (3) years of landscape maintenance experience at the Supervisor level leading crews
- Experience installing a variety of irrigation types/sizes, programming controllers and timers, and troubleshooting irrigation issues
- Knowledge of common name plant identification and ability to properly layout to scale
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and ability to be insured under Company Insurance Policy
- High School diploma or equivalent; degree in technical, engineering, or relevant field a plus
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- Bilingual a plus but not required
