Maintenance Floor Technician (FT) | Environmental Services | Ames | 2026-154

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of floor surfaces at McFarland clinic locations.
• Operate various floor buffing and cleaning equipment.
• Be proficient with a variety of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Perform duties in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive company vehicles by McFarland Clinic Auto Insurance carrier, if job assignment requires driving a company vehicle.
• Have/Willing to obtain floor care certification from ISSA.
• Previous hard surface floor care experience preferred.
• Previous McFarland Clinic experience preferred.

• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
