Primary Responsibilities

  • Use and update a work order system for all requests of the center
  • Perform checks of facility, grounds and parking lots and report deficiencies
  • Inspect for damaged ceiling tiles as needed
  • Inspect for or repair light fixtures
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks (sinks, toilets, drains, etc.)
  • Perform basic inspection of facility roofs as needed
  • Interact with other departments to understand needs and accomplish tasks

Fleet

  • Provide total vehicle maintenance of fleet
  • Track daily vehicle repairs, pending and completed
  • Maintain accurate records of usage, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all vehicles
  • Ensure all vehicles are kept in proper running order and complete appropriate inspections in a timely manner (including inspection of external lights and trailer lights for vehicles being used on a weekly basis)
  • Make recommendations on vehicle replacement/repair decisions
  • Perform and/or monitor the completion of scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance actions
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance and parts invoices are approved and routed for payment on a weekly basis
  • Evaluate the most cost-effective method to complete vehicle repairs, internal or external
  • Make recommendations or ideas of vendors and service providers
