Primary Responsibilities
- Use and update a work order system for all requests of the center
- Perform checks of facility, grounds and parking lots and report deficiencies
- Inspect for damaged ceiling tiles as needed
- Inspect for or repair light fixtures
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
- Perform basic plumbing tasks (sinks, toilets, drains, etc.)
- Perform basic inspection of facility roofs as needed
- Interact with other departments to understand needs and accomplish tasks
Fleet
- Provide total vehicle maintenance of fleet
- Track daily vehicle repairs, pending and completed
- Maintain accurate records of usage, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all vehicles
- Ensure all vehicles are kept in proper running order and complete appropriate inspections in a timely manner (including inspection of external lights and trailer lights for vehicles being used on a weekly basis)
- Make recommendations on vehicle replacement/repair decisions
- Perform and/or monitor the completion of scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance actions
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and parts invoices are approved and routed for payment on a weekly basis
- Evaluate the most cost-effective method to complete vehicle repairs, internal or external
- Make recommendations or ideas of vendors and service providers
