Maintenance & Facilities Technician 1

Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance duties as required by the Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) and keeps accurate/on-time records of work performed.
• Participates in the design, selection, procurement, and installation of new processing equipment.
• Provides support to the engineering department for factory equipment and projects.
• Uses machine shop for equipment and supplies; assists machinist on jobs.
• Operates waste and DI water systems.
• Contributes to continuous process improvements.
• Serves as secondary contact for handling all scheduled contractors and agencies performing service, repairs, or installations in the factory.
• Responsible for checking in/out contractors and agencies.
• Prioritizes daily tasks according to level of importance.
• Ensures all safety procedures are followed by contractors and agencies working in and around the factory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or comparable experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of pumps, filters, compressed air, and basic electrical wiring.
• Strong mechanical and electrical capabilities.
• Computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Office) and ability to learn company system software.
• Ability to work in a team environment alongside multiple departments.
• Hazardous materials awareness training.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of regulatory safety standards.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$25.20 - $32.76 hourly
