Job Details

Lead all maintenance and facility operations across the site — building systems, grounds, production and non-production equipment, and related infrastructure — while planning, budgeting, and scheduling modifications and capital improvements.

Supervise and develop hourly maintenance mechanics and facilities personnel, including goal setting, training, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and safety compliance.

Administer preventive maintenance programs, including development and execution of PM schedules, and lead diagnosis of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic equipment failures.

Direct preparation of specifications, layouts, drawings, and cost estimates for facility requirements, and oversee purchasing of non-inventoried plant materials and facility supplies.

Manage service contracts and vendor relationships (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, MRO, industrial services) and serve as primary contact for utilities and fire/life safety systems.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and OSHA regulations while driving Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Looking for

  • Experience maintenance and facilities operations, experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • BS in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of progressive facilities and machinery maintenance experience considered
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial machinery — NC/CNC equipment, lathes, mills, presses
  • Supervisor / lead level considered
  • Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
    • PLC / HMI programming and troubleshooting (ladder logic)
    • Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
    • Root cause analysis
    • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility repair trades
    • Aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
