Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Job Description

Arvato is seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead proactive and preventive facility maintenance across our facility in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be able to leverage your knowledge and experience in facilities management and work cross-functionally to maximize equipment and facility resources while meeting safety and budget requirements.

SUPERVISION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Supervise, guide, and assign projects to supervisors, project engineers, and engineering technicians relating to the engineering, development, maintenance, and special projects of all machinery and equipment
• Be responsible for overseeing all vendors on property, negotiating with vendors to reduce overhead costs, and any facility-related repairs and general upkeep
• Delegate work projects for the improvement of the efficiency and reliability of equipment used in operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years in a Facilities Manager role or similar experience
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to work long hours, including overtime if needed
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex conveyor, robotics, and automation systems
• Ability to support and troubleshoot WCS and PLC's
