Responsibilities
- Aid other engineering personnel with routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to guest requests to ensure their personal comfort.
- Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas while monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Prepare for daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects.
- Ensure appropriate time management.
- Maintain high standards for the proper use of all equipment.
- Ensure the safety and security of the property, our guests, and fellow team members.
- Snow removal.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge in building maintenance fields with at least one (1) year of experience in a similar position or equivalent experience, including the use of hand tools and other tools for repairs and maintenance.
- Experience with basic diagnostic devices and training in general-overall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot these principles.
- Experience at a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel or resort is highly desirable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to thirty-five (35) feet.
- Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to pass a Certified Pool Operator training course.
- Ability to learn and understand all life safety systems.
- Basic English language and mathematical skills for communication with co-workers and guests.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
