About the role
Located at the 32nd Avenue Building Department, this position is responsible for general maintenance in a medical specialty campus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance including inspection, maintenance, and complex repairs on various systems such as pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
- Provide emergency repairs as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Provide general work direction, within the scope of their license, to assigned team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of a 2‑year vocational school or a 2‑year apprenticeship program or the equivalent, OR 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.

Pay
Compensation range: $21.08 – $31.62 per hour.
Schedule
- Rotating shift (day/evening) within the United States.
- Weekend rotation required.
- Holiday work required.
- Call obligation required.
- Possible remote/hybrid option.
- Full‑time (FTE 1).
