Help us roll out the red carpet at Caesars Palace! This world-renowned resort indulges our guests with 25 unique restaurants and cafes, over 3,000 rooms, 4.5 acres of pools and gardens, and a 50,000 square foot spa.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties in guest rooms.
  • Troubleshoot guest room fixtures and equipment malfunction.
  • Take a leadership role in reporting and correcting unsafe work practices or unsafe facility conditions.
  • Train and assist area apprentices and engineers in repair procedures and company policy.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two years hotel/casino experience as a Room Call Engineer.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be capable of maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees or cold temperatures below 10 degrees.
  • Must possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, and carry heavy loads.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to maneuver on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in situations.
  • Must be able to learn and retain locations, operation, and repair procedures of this property's mechanical systems.
