Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary

The Company operates 24/7, requiring shifts that vary in days, start times, and hours. The General Maintenance Engineer performs preventative maintenance and repairs, responds to engineering service calls, and ensures safety and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Perform interior and exterior preventive maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Respond promptly to elevator breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Resolve engineering service requests courteously and efficiently.
• Use engineering tools and supplies appropriately.
• Maintain engineering and work areas in an orderly and clean condition.
• Promptly report emergencies, injuries, damage, and safety hazards to management.
• Document parts used and needed for purchase.
• Participate in special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
• Attend task forces and committees as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and training in building maintenance.
• Two or more years of experience in building maintenance or related experience.
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

• Use engineering tools and supplies effectively.

• Close vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Operate a motor vehicle as required.
