Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization, planning and direction of the maintenance and mechanical operations of Renewal facilities.
• Aid in the planning, design and supervision of all new building construction and renovation programs.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and overall building conditions are maintained.
• Inspect and diagnose problems, determine solutions, and deliver a well-maintained, safe, and comfortable living environment for all reentrants, clients, and staff members.

Requirements

• General knowledge of construction, building trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, elevator equipment, kitchen equipment, etc.)
• Experience in organizing and supervising maintenance activities with a broad range of training in various areas of building trades and maintenance services.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years related experience, preferably in a residential or treatment setting.
• Formalized training preferred.
• Valid PA Driver’s License and Act 33/34 required.
