Responsibilities
- Provide technical and maintenance services throughout the hotel.
- Ensure all encounters are handled with a friendly, service-oriented approach.
- Maintain regular attendance standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders.
- Check and make minor repairs to electrical systems.
- Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment.
- Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
- Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal."
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms.
- Respond courteously to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests.
- Operate heavy machinery.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical problems.
- Assemble, install, and repair various systems and equipment.
- Communicate with other departments regarding guest room conditions.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Experience with electrical systems and plumbing.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
- Ability to diagnose and correct mechanical problems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
