About the role

This person will perform electrical and mechanical repairs on production and facility related equipment at the Springfield, MN facility. When needed, this person will be tasked to design and implement new or upgraded equipment controls. This person will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Promote safe work practices by following company safety policies.
  • Aid in building controls for new equipment, as well as adding or upgrading controls on existing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean work area and promote company 5S policies.
  • Identify root causes of maintenance downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
  • Order repair parts for maintenance repairs to equipment and facilities.
  • Identify critical parts and make recommendations on additional spare parts inventory.

Qualifications

  • Educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 5+ years experience as an industrial maintenance electrician with advanced machine controls and design experience as well as power distribution systems.
  • Skills: Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; advanced training & knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC platform, as well as human machine interfaces (HMI); working knowledge of National Electric Code; excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, electronic, etc…; self-motivated and proven strong leadership skills; ability to identify problems and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtime; excellent problem solving and team motivational skills; ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, adversity, and changes; willingness to have a flexible work schedule that supports production and process improvements.

Pay

$25/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.00
