Maintenance Electrician - $5,000 Sign-on Bonus Eligible

Responsibilities

• Preventative electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical equipment in the factory.
• Follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations.
• Work collaboratively across the plant to ensure machine reliability and process improvements.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
• Design, program and troubleshoot plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices and associated equipment.
• Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
• Properly install conduit, raceways, fittings, etc.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment.

Skills

• Highly proficient in the use of maintenance equipment including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills and welding equipment.
• Knowledgeable in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
• Experience in designing, programming, and troubleshooting plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices and associated equipment.
• Ability to read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
• Proficient in properly installing conduit, raceways, fittings, etc.
• Skilled in using test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Pay

The approximate starting hourly pay for this position is $40.18 per hour for Maintenance Electrician Class C. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
