Maintenance Electrician (4th Shift)(Onsite)

Regular shift hours will be Friday-Sunday from 5am-5pm. Training may take place on a different shift for up to 6 months before moving into our 4th shift.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment supporting production operations, engine test cells, and facility infrastructure.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, isolate root causes, replace or repair components, and verify proper system performance following repairs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair engine test cell electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation including pressure gauges, manometers, vibration sensors, transducers, tachometers, flow meters, torque meters, temperature sensors, and other precision measurement devices while maintaining accurate calibration records.
- Maintain inventory levels of instrumentation, gauges, and calibration equipment to support operational readiness.
- Design, modify, and improve electrical circuits and control systems to enhance equipment reliability, accuracy, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, microprocessor-based systems, motors, drives, and industrial control systems.
- Partner with equipment manufacturers and vendors to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement system improvements.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals to diagnose and complete repairs.
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance activities including motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting, machinery installation, equipment relocation, and general facility maintenance as needed.
- Support maintenance of buildings, grounds, utilities, vehicles, production equipment, engine test equipment, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve preventive maintenance procedures and standard work instructions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members and production personnel to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Safely handle chemicals and hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
- Work safely in industrial environments that may include elevated work areas, confined spaces, high noise levels, and varying weather conditions when supporting outdoor equipment.
- Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements while promptly reporting unsafe conditions or environmental concerns.
Requirements
- Completion of a technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or trade program in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or a related field (typically 2–3 years of post-high school technical training), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining industrial electrical and electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, or MRO environment.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience working with motors, motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation equipment.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, or engine MRO operations maintaining engine test cells or complex industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory, solid-state electronics, polyphase power systems, industrial controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and microprocessor-based control systems.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- PLC programming or troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Electrical licensing or industry certifications are a plus.
