Maintenance Director (Full-Time) - Pinewood Square

About the role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Director at our Pinewood Square community in Goose Creek to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of an Assisted Living community. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, etc. A Maintenance Director is a professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. This is a Full-Time opportunity to join a great team! Minimum two years experience. Must have experience in senior housing, DPH and DHEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and general repairs
• Maintain buildings and common areas in optimal condition
• Observe all health and safety guidelines
• Work autonomously and responsibly
• Problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others
• Follow written and oral instructions effectively

Requirements

• Minimum two years of related maintenance experience
• Experience in senior housing, DPH and DHEC regulations
• Some formal training in carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refurbishing, and/or cleaning preferred
• Ability to perform general maintenance repair needs at assigned buildings
• Valid state driver’s license and/or CDL license based on property requirements and state laws
• Ability to safely drive and operate a van or larger vehicle
• Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism
• Willingness to seek out new methods and incorporate them into existing maintenance practices

Schedule

Position requires every other weekend scheduling.
