Maintenance Director (Facilities)

Avir at Corpus Christi is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a positive work environment. The Maintenance Director (Facilities) oversees the maintenance and repair of the healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance and repair projects to ensure the facility remains safe and functional
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
• Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and patient care, to ensure a smooth operation
• Supervise and train maintenance staff, including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and HIPAA
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks
• Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track maintenance activities and budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
