Maintenance Director
About the role
As a Maintenance Director, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. You will also ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems. This position is also responsible for providing quality laundry service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes.
- Maintain the community in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; ensure all systems are in good repair, free from hazards.
- Provide quality laundry service.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in maintenance supervisory roles required.
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
