Your Role
Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents' living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly.
- Perform and oversee general maintenance work on a daily basis, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
- Prepare resident apartments for new occupants through painting, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance, either directly or as part of a team
- Maintain the grounds so the outside of the community is always presentable
- Develop and manage the preventative maintenance program to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
- Complete work orders from residents and staff promptly
- Cookordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors
- Maintain life-safety systems and ensure the community meets fire and safety requirements
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in facilities maintenance, with senior living, hospitality, or multi-family experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly with strong communication skills
