Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance operations for the skilled nursing community.
- Ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.
- Direct emergency response efforts and ensure readiness for all life-safety procedures, including fire drills, disaster preparedness, and compliance protocols.
- Oversee building systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and equipment, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, manage, and document maintenance programs, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules in support of surveys and inspections.
- Avoid non-compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to safety, infection control, and facility operations.
- Provide leadership, training, and oversight to maintenance staff while managing vendors, budgets, and capital improvement projects as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have 5+ years of maintenance experience in residential, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or property management settings.
- Must have 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, especially overseeing maintenance staff, vendors, and work orders.
- Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and building systems.
- Must have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills
Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

This is a full-time position with day and afternoon hours, with on-call requirements as needed.
