Chase County Care and Rehab in Cottonwood Falls, KS is looking for a full-time Maintenance Director to manage all maintenance duties for our healthcare facility.
About the role
As Maintenance Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the physical plant, ensuring the facility remains in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance tasks and manage relationships with outside vendors while adhering to all relevant Federal, State, County, and City codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all functions required to maintain the physical facility in safe and operational condition
- Conduct preventative and restorative maintenance duties
- Negotiate and contract with outside vendors
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, County, and City codes and regulations
- Supervise maintenance staff, including setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, and providing feedback
- Manage change, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration and teamwork
- Use an electronic work order system (experience preferred)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare-related maintenance and plant operations
- 1+ year of supervisory experience, including performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Proficiency in Windows 10, with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience as a Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility is ideal

Pay
$26 to $28 per hour.
