Responsibilities
- Oversight and approval of all necessary repairs/improvements for the facility systems and processes to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate safety records and logs and produce required reports as needed.
- Supervise and monitor maintenance staff and maintenance contractors working in the facility.
- Provide ongoing preventative maintenance and upkeep of the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment.
- Inspect maintenance work for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment (workshop).
- Verify daily logs of refrigerator temperatures.
- Validate daily test and logs of water temperatures within the facility.
- Mandate and observe budgetary guidelines regarding supplies and service and follows proper procedure as if relates to purchase order system and approval before ordering supplies.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- Acts as chairperson for Safety Committee.
- Absorb compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent; College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering is highly preferred.
- Must have at least 5 years experience in plant engineering and a maintenance supervisory role.
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation systems, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC are essential.
- Working knowledge of the principles of supervision, organization and administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Must exercise considerable independent judgment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are required to work with facility staff, contractors and general public.

Pay
Competitive Pay: $70k - $80k/yr!
