Job Summary

The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities

• Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
• Perform heavy‑duty cleaning.
• Change screens and storm windows.
• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions independently.
• Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
