Maintenance Director
About the Role
Do you have a good working knowledge of and the ability to perform professional level maintenance services, such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, heating and air-conditioning, and general construction? This hands-on position oversees maintenance services for the campus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine tests and inspections
- Maintain facility's fire, disaster, and emergency preparedness plans
- Manage the preventative maintenance program
- Oversee and assist with painting and repairs
- Coordinate groundskeeping
- Lead and direct maintenance personnel
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent, and a one-year technical diploma or 5 years of related experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Thorough knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and allied machinery, as well as the various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal codes and ordinances, and safety regulations
- Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair or new construction
- Knowledge of record keeping and cost estimating
