Maintenance Director

About the Role

Complete Care at Fox Hill is a 120-bed, single-level facility located in Vernon, CT. We approach every day with one goal: to improve the lives we touch through high-quality healthcare and extraordinary compassion.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with on-call responsibilities every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for supervising and directing the Maintenance Department.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
• Organize and maintain all records necessary to operate the maintenance department.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of written departmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.

Requirements

• Prior long-term care experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Knowledge of NFPA 101 Life Safety CODE.
• HVAC licensure preferred; plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
