Maintenance - Deerfield, MO

About the role

This is a full-time hourly (non-union) position with Growth Potential at a Soybean Processing and Biodiesel Production facility. Work is done primarily on day shift with the possibility of overtime and call out work.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment
• Document inspection and service activity as required
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks; repair and replace equipment as needed
• Electrical, Hydraulic, Steam systems troubleshooting
• Order and inventory parts and equipment as directed
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Physical Demands

• Prolonged kneeling
• Bending
• Climbing stairs and ladders
• Shoveling
• Sweeping
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Ability to safely & accurately perform metal cutting, welding, and fabrication
• Prior experience or working knowledge of three phase, 480-volt electrical systems preferred
• Candidate must exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to respond to emergency call outs to the site in a timely manner
• Experience in an animal feed/food production facility or grain elevator a plus
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while being flexible to work as a team when needed

Qualifications

• High school/GED education
• Ability to safely & accurately perform metal cutting, welding, and fabrication
