Maintenance Custodian Second Shift

Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of district buildings and grounds
- Supervise evening custodial staff
- Maintenance tasks including but not limited to:
- General repair
- Mechanical, electrical, facility carpentry, and plumbing
- Knowledge of building management system controls and HVAC is a plus
- Inspect all buildings and report issues
- Maintain inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies
- Availability for emergency work/calls as necessary
- Participate in snow removal operations in the district; experience with snow blowers, salters, and plowing is a plus
- Assist with setting up and breaking down after-school events
- Assist with summer stripping and waxing
- Cover custodial sections as needed
Requirements
- Physically able to perform maintenance
- Possess a driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Trade certification (preferred)
- Black Seal certification (preferred)
- School custodial experience
- School maintenance experience
Pay
$40,000 to $60,000 pending experience
Schedule
- Full-time
- 8-hour shift
- Monday–Friday
- Second shift
