Maintenance Crew Leader / Leisure Services

Duties and responsibilities

• Overseeing the work of assigned staff
• Performing maintenance and repair tasks
• Cleaning and painting
• Performing additional tasks as assigned

Job Related Requirements

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with occasional weekends and serves on-call.
• May be required to work on religious holidays.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Must work cooperatively with others.
• Must work with a vehicle and must abide by ACC's safe driving policy.
• Emergency Position: Designated as an emergency position that requires your attendance at work under all types of emergency conditions.

Minimum Training & Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Valid driver's license and maintain a safe work and driving record.
• FEMA’s NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 level training and maintain these trainings throughout employment.
• Certified in First Aid/CPR or have ability to attain within 6 months of employment.
• Criminal background must indicate eligibility for the supervision of inmates.
• Obtain security training for the supervision of inmate workers as set forth by the Georgia Department of Corrections Standard Operating Procedures within six months of date of hire or first available opportunity.
