Essential Responsibilities
- Review requisition orders to ensure compliance to capital budget.
- Facilitates the routing, approval and communications of capital change orders.
- Maintain fleet and equipment records in computerized maintenance management system.
- Prepare purchase orders for management approval, including the assignment of business unit codes.
- Review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and proper payment of invoices.
- Assemble as point of contact with key vendors to coordinate purchasing activities.
- Performs reconciliation of all capital requisitions to purchase orders and tracks purchase order transactions to vendors, creating periodic reports for the department with status.
- Resolve data errors and escalate other errors to management for comparison against identified critical objectives and tasks.
- Facilitates and coordinates asset disposal activities and ensures all required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Communicate with vendors and up-fitters to ensure compliance with company’s needs and expectations on equipment orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four years of customer service and clerical experience.
- Previous experience with fleet management systems and knowledge of parts preferred.
- Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications, fleet management systems, parts, materials and supplies used in shop operations and inventory control.
- Ability to use computers and technology capabilities.
- Proficiency in purchase orders, inventory control, etc.
- Communicate well both verbally and in writing; listen to and understand various viewpoints; share relevant information timely; provide constructive feedback; maintain professionalism.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
