Maintenance Coordinator

Essential Job Functions

• Purchase consumable materials to support Maintenance through Maintain X.
• Cook up purchasing administration functions and interface as the primary Indirect / MRO interface to all internal Customer requirements.
• Drive and maintain compliance to purchasing policies and procedures so to support common Indirect / MRO strategies within a specified region and/or location.
• Support the development of sourcing strategies, alternative sources of supply, and cost reduction projects.
• Aid in the management of Supplier relationships, execute contracts, develop RFQ packages, and provide analytical support for analysis of proposals to ensure best value for purchased materials / services.
• Support and monitor key supplier performance metrics.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and overall maintenance of associated record keeping within the purchasing system.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree or college diploma highly desired.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills.
• Must work in accordance with the Continuous Improvement Values.
• Must have strong computer skills.
• Must be extremely organized and able to function independently under pressure.
• Working knowledge of MRP and computerized inventory control.
• Observing purchasing code of ethics is a condition of employment.
• Good negotiating skills.
