What You Will Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and computer-based control systems.
- Identify and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other automation components.
- Work closely with maintenance and production staff to optimize production processes.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Commission, diagnose, calibrate, maintain, and repair environmental-control systems and processes.
- Utilize knowledge of electronics, DDC, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, pH sensors, flow meters, electrical meters, and system control techniques.
- Work with the Maintenance, Controls Engineer, Plant Engineer, and the Facility Engineer to keep control systems and field devices operating according to the basis of design.
- Assist maintenance techs in troubleshooting electrical controls related process issues.
- Adhere to national electrical codes, NFPA 70E standards, and strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
- Use Rockwell Automation software, multimeters, and diagnostics to find and fix electrical or control failures.
What You Will Bring
- Required: High School Diploma, Associate or Technical Degree, Certification in Electronics, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logic, HVAC (preferred).
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's, and general instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
