About the Role

Builds and repairs fixtures and structures. Repairs plumbing and low-voltage (under 50 volts) electrical systems. Performs routine maintenance and repairs for forklifts, HVAC, machinery, and equipment for both ancillary businesses and warehouse. Provides janitorial and general maintenance of warehouse and grounds. Delivers a high level of member service.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs for warehouse and ancillary business machinery and equipment, including forklifts, HVAC, refrigeration units, ovens, scales, wrappers, compactors, balers, and dock plates.
• Builds and repairs fixtures, structures, and displays using hand and power tools. Measures, cuts, affixes, shapes, sands, and paints various materials.
• Repairs plumbing problems, installs and maintains plumbing fixtures, and repairs electrical systems under 50 volts.
• Performs janitorial duties: cleans floors with floor-scrubbing machines, empties garbage, pulls cardboard, cleans offices, break rooms, and restrooms following departmental cleanliness standards.
• Cleans and maintains grounds and buildings, performs roof checks, and participates in snow and ice removal.
• Follows safety and security procedures, including tagging and locking off power access for electrical work, wearing safety goggles for compactors and balers, and responding quickly to clean up spills.
• Checks daily schedule for assigned tasks, construction, maintenance, and repair jobs.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as required.
• Assists with department duties and other warehouse departments as necessary.
