Main Responsibilities
- Source and procure parts, equipment, and services needed for maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to forecast part needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Review and approve purchase orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy and budget alignment.
- Track delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely arrival of critical parts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through vendor consolidation or strategic sourcing.
- Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes.
- Aid in budget management by monitoring costs and working to control spending.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, procurement, or related field preferred.
- Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a maintenance or production environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and corporate procurement policies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and urgent needs.
Qualifications

- Preferred degree in business, procurement, or related field.
