Maintenance Associate, Grouse Mountain Lodge

Grouse Mountain Lodge is seeking an Evening Maintenance Associate to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. This full-time, year-round position focuses on the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel facilities through preventative maintenance, repairs, and general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Support upkeep of hotel facilities, grounds, and seasonal maintenance needs, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Conduct property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.
• Interact professionally with guests and team members while delivering excellent service.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; maintenance or trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
