Maintenance Associate - Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center

About the role

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to join their Facilities team. This full-time, year-round role involves ensuring the hotel remains safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, assisting with repairs, responding to maintenance requests, conducting inspections, and supporting seasonal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hotel buildings, guest rooms, and event spaces
• Aid with general carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, and minor electrical tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Conduct regular property inspections and report any safety or repair concerns
• Support seasonal tasks such as pool maintenance, snow removal, and landscaping assistance
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to keep equipment and systems functioning efficiently
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow all safety protocols and uphold company standards

Requirements

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, standing, and working in various environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
