Maintenance Assistant/ Van Driver

Summary of Responsibilities

• Aid in areas as directed by the Director of Maintenance or independently when the Director is absent.
• Maintain excellent attendance record.
• Effectively punch in and out daily with no exceptions.
• Show a high level of safety in all work practices.
• Comply with the uniform policy.
• Respond to all building emergencies.
• Keep common areas free of scuff marks around doors, jams, baseboards, and walls.
• Maintain grounds by collecting trash, sweeping dumpster areas, and cleaning first impression areas.
• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
• Preferred experience in maintaining water source heat pumps.
• Possess knowledge of OSHA and life safety regulations.
• Handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on individual skills, roles, and interests.
• Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means.
• Show strong organizational and time management skills.
• Show good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Show proficiency in computer skills.
