About the role

Responsibilities
- Ensure that the physical aspects of the community meet both company standards and applicable laws.
- Manage, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
- Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
- Establish and prepare a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team, and personally be available in case of emergencies.
- Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
- Establish an on-call schedule, preventive maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team.
- Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
Requirements
- Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
- One-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Technical aptitude in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Benefits
- Compensation: Base Pay: $28.00 - $34.00, Up to 50% Rent Discount, Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions, Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly, On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone.

Pay
Base Pay: $28.00 - $34.00
Schedule
Paid rotating on-call participation required. Must be available and prepared for emergency events. Schedule subject to change based on business need.
