Maintenance Assistant – Senior Living

As a Maintenance Assistant, you help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for residents, families, and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Auxiliary carpet and floor care as needed
• Auxiliary suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Play a key role in safety, compliance, and day-to-day building operations
• Support daily repairs and preventative facility maintenance

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $18.65 - $23.45 per hour.
