Maintenance Assistant/Grounds Keeper

About the role

You are responsible for helping with the general upkeep of the physical plant, its property and grounds. You play an important role in patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction. You follow all regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• mowing
• trimming
• edging
• planting
• mulching
• watering
• pruning
• raking
• pressure washing

Requirements

• 40 hours/week minimum with some overtime flexibility
• Flexible hours and workdays, Sunday-Saturday
• Able to work outdoors with no physical limitations (lift 50+lbs, bending, kneeling, pulling, twisting, etc.)
• Experience and skilled with lawncare & landscape maintenance
• Experience operating outdoor equipment, including but not limited to: commercial mowers, trimmers, chemical sprayers, pull behind trailers, chain saws, other company vehicles
• Willing to commute between buildings with a valid driver’s license
• Strongly attentive to lawn and landscape detail
• (Knowledge or willingness to learn) about irrigation system maintenance
• Good with communication and prioritizing
• Self-motivated
