Maintenance Assistant

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Fieldstone Place in Clarksville, TN.

About the role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform maintenance department activities to ensure environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. You will assist in maintaining the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition, in good repair, and free from hazards related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with environmental and building regulations.
• Maintain the facility in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Address and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
• Assist with commercial laundry, housekeeping, and general maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior maintenance experience required; experience in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting highly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for working with seniors and a flexible, energetic personality.
