Maintenance Assistant

About the role

Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a 6-month temporary role with full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities to ensure environmental compliance according to Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Maintain the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Ensure all systems, including electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling, are in good repair and free from hazards.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior experience in maintenance in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting.
• Prior maintenance experience required.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors.
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.

Skills

• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
