About the role
Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a 6-month temporary role with full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities to ensure environmental compliance according to Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Maintain the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
- Ensure all systems, including electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling, are in good repair and free from hazards.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Prior experience in maintenance in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Prior maintenance experience required.
Qualifications
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
